Dove Go Fresh Body Wash Review

I have been working out a a little more this year and find showers can be so much more refreshing when I am sweaty and have worked my muscles to the bones.  I am loving the new Dove Go Fresh body wash.  I have the Plum and Sakura Blossom scent and just love it.  The body wash works great and has the perfect consistency.  It doesn't ooze out of the bottle too fast for waste and it isn't so thick that it makes using it a pain in the neck.  It is just right.  The scent is great and the moisture level is just perfect.  I can even use it for shaving my legs if I forget to replenish my shaving gel into the shower.  

I have even seen coupons online for the Dove line so look for those! This body wash is a real treat and one you will find yourself repurchasing because you love it so much.

Along with the body wash, I also use the Dove unscented beauty bar for sensitive skin.  I find works great for my face.  I am really careful about what I use on my face and trust Dove.  My kids even prefer to use the Dove body wash in the sensitive skin version for their shower over the perfume infused kid's stuff.

Ottlite Natural Makeup Mirror Review

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved listening to Broadway musicals, dressing in costumes, and putting on makeup.  I always pictured myself owning a house that had a built-in vanity with lights surrounding it.  Well, the years have passed and I still like all of the above except I never got my built-in vanity. 

This OttLite Natural Makeup Mirror is a great stand-in for that vanity.  I was fortunate enough to review this product and I have to say - I feel like the star of a show using it!  I love the colors as it has a vintage, feminine look.   Even though it has that look, it doesn't have a vintage feature about it! It is so high tech with the precise blend of light wavelengths - OttLite® 508 Illumination™.  When I opened the box, even my little boys were impressed.  "Can we use it??" they chimed.  I felt like the kid on the block with a fancy new toy that everyone wanted to use.  It is very shiny and impressive!

The Ottlite makeup mirror features two sides with 5x and 1x magnification and it is energy efficient (something close to my heart).  It makes applying makeup so much better because it allows you to see true color so you can blend your makeup perfectly.  No more blotchy chin lines!

Sprayology Vitamin Spray Review

What is the key to great skin and hair?  Nutrition, sleep, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle.  Sometimes it's tough to get all those elements in one day though. That is where Sprayology comes in!

I had the pleasure of sampling two of the vitamin sprays by Sprayology - Daily Multi and B12 + Folic Acid.  Seems a little different, huh?

Before I used these two samples I had heard of taking vitamins in a liquid form but never in a spray form.  I was intrigued to say the least.  I read the directions that clearly stated to shake well before spritzing into your mouth- under your tongue. 

The Daily Multi contains Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, D3, E and Biotin to rev up the immune system and metabolism, strengthen the optical system and enhance the overall health of your body. It is safe for adults and children over 4 years old.  You just use 10 sprays per day (5 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon).   This spray tasted like oranges.  It had a sweet taste so it wasn't bitter.  I have to admit it was kind of fun to use.  Fun to take vitamins?  Yes!

  

The B12 + Folic was also pleasant but no orange taste.  I actually liked this one better which is good because it is geared toward people with high stress or those who don't get much sleep.  I have also read so much in the news lately about the importance of taking daily folic acid so this covered me.  This spray is also for adults and children over 4 years old. 

Overall, I really like using the spray vitamins by Sprayology.  They take up a lot less room than vitamin bottles + less waste, cost less, and make taking vitamins much more convenient.

Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Shampoo Review

On a whim, I purchased the Nourish Spa Shampoo and Conditioner at Trader Joe's last month.  I thought it would be natural and great for my hair, plus it was fairly inexpensive at $3.99 each.

Now, as I give you the very honest and frank review, please understand that I am not focusing on the price of the product.  There are plenty of inexpensive shampoos that work great, this just isn't one of them.

I brought this on my recent camping trip to Yosemite.  I gave it a fair try-8 days!  Let's just say, the shampoo smells great, it strips your hair color, and leaves your hair dry and damaged looking.  The conditioner was not as bad, but didn't do anything to help after what the shampoo did to my hair.

After my trip, I had to recolor my hair, used a shea butter overnight conditioner, and returned to my color-safe shampoo.  Slowly but surely, I am getting my old hair back.

Lesson learned:  Don't bring a new beauty product on a vacation.  You will get stuck using it if there aren't any drugstores around.  Plus, you don't want photos with breakouts or bad hair!
