Max Factor Review

I recently tried Max Factor's Vivid Impact Lip color. Wow, this stuff is awesome! It really gives MAC a run for it's money. The lip color goes on smoothly with one application and has lasting power! I ended up using the color that the quiz recommended and it was great! It was fun to try a different shade and not my usual coral, brown shades.

I highly recommend this new lipstick!

Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Ageless Lifting and Firming Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 Review:

I have been using this lotion for the past two weeks. I really like the pump dispenser. With one pump I get enough lotion to cover my face and neck. The lotion goes on smoothly and under my makeup with no issues.

As for the ageless and lifting factor, I have seen no improvements on my skin. At first, I did break out a little but I am not sure if it was caused by stress or the lotion. With a little Clearasil, it was gone.

As for the SPF30, it did last through a few hours of the hot sun, but probably shouldn't be used as a primary sunscreen for the beach or a day of hiking.

Overall, I probably won't buy this product again unless it is fairly inexpensive and use it as a backup lotion. I paid approximately $19.00 for it at CVS.

2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper Review

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper Mascara Review:

I had the pleasure of testing the New 2000 Calorie Extreme in Black Velvet. Let's just say, "This stuff is extreme!" The mascara goes on thick and is very dramatic. It took a few times to get used to the applicator because it is so thick. The mascara did have holding power throughout the day and did not smudge. In fact, I used it on my lower lashes and after a 12 hour work day, it did not smudge all over my eyes. No raccoon eyes here!

I do have to say, 2000 Calorie Extreme is probably not for someone in a hurry and running out the door. It takes time and precision to apply this mascara just right!
