It's Freebie Friday

It's Friday the 13th and I am feeling a little freaky!! Let's have a contest. Up for grabs is a tube of L'Oreal Colour Riche Stars Lipcolour Lipstick in Eva's Caramel. It is Eva Longoria's signature color I love it! I think it looks good on just about anyone.

To enter, just leave a comment listing some of your superstitions. Please remember to leave your name or a code name. The contest closes at midnight PST on Thursday, March 19th and I will announce the winner on Friday, March 20th. US Residents only please.

Tell your friends!

And if you win, you only have Eva to thank. Without her, there would be no Eva's Caramel!

Ok its a silly one, but its the only one I have! We have tickets to the local ice hockey games. And I always use the same restroom and stall at the arena during home games. I know this has no effect on the outcome of the game but I still do it!

I won't walk under a ladder or let a black cat cross my path. I have no clue where these to goofy superstitions came from, but they still seem to hold some kind of power over me.

Beautiful lipstick. I don't believe in superstitions because I am a Christian and I know God protects me from all things!

When I spill the salt it goes over the shoulder. I always do that.

Oops- I hit enter before adding my superstitions. Let me say first that I am Italian and VERY superstitious- so here's just a few... lift up your feet as you drive over railroad tracks to keep the one you love. Salt gets thrown over your left shoulder if you spill some. No shoes on the table EVER- besides being gross, this brings bad luck into the household. Same with dropping silverware- drop a fork- woman visitor is coming, a knife- male, spoon- trouble. Itchy nose? Kiss a fool or get in a fight. Never use an illness or accident as an excuse to get out of something- it's that whole now it might happen thought.

we're big steelers fans and they would win every time my son wore a certain steelers outfit...so we kept dressing him in it all season...even when it got a little...uh...snug. :)

My biggest superstition is about stepping over a child..in my family, my mother used to tell me that if you did that the child would not grow. If anyone does it around me, it still freaks me out and I make them step back the way that they first did it!

For some reason I've always been supersticious...I still don't understand why I have to eat black eyed peas on New Year's Eve...or else I'll have a terrible year! Funny, huh?

Pretty lipstick!

I think it's an Asian thing but apparently sticking your chopsticks so that they're vertical is very bad luck because it looks like incense, which equals death.

It's bad luck to talk about something you are really hoping happens. It puts a jynx on it.

I have to sit in the same seat at bingo every week. I save the wishbone in chickens and turkeys and pull them with someone. And, I believe in Karma. JeansandTs@hotmail.com

I still never take the last piece of food on a plate - who wants to be an old maid? (Of course, it's too late for that now!)

I love Eva's color.

My superstitions have to do with my husband racing. #1 you never, and I mean never wear green to the race track. (Although I think my hubby is actually putting green lettering on his racecar this year...I don't get it). #2 under no circumstances can you bring shelled peanuts to the race track. Don't ask me why.

These are superstitions that were actually my hubby's and then somehow now their mine.

I'm also really weird and will never, ever...miss one of his races. Ok...I feel like I need help now! :)

I don't tend to have any superstitions, the only thing I can think of is not walking under a ladder but I feel like that is more for safety than anything else.

I won't drive behind a truck with ladders on the roof, I always knock on wood, I "try" not to step on cracks - would hate to break my mother's back, the list truly goes on and on.... man- never realized how supersitious I was! Need new lipstick- love the color Moody!!! Karrie

One of my superstitions is that I refuse to wear some of my favorite sports teams' gear because I think it is going to bring them bad luck if they are doing well at a certain point of the season. Also, sometimes if one of my favorite teams is on a win streak I will wear the same thing everyday until they lose because I feel wearing the same outfit while they are winning brings them luck. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win. Thanks.

Okay...superstitions...so many! I always toss salt over my left shoulder if I use any, since I am sure there are minor particles that may "spill" that I cannot see! Won't open an umbrella anywhere near indoors, let alone inside. Penny heads up, good luck. Penny face down, leave on ground. Lastly, I always cross my fingers when I see a cop car/motorcycle....'cause you never know if they may think you have done something wrong, even though I am an angel. :)
