Vanicream Cleansing Bar Review

In honor of all my Irish Vani relatives, I am reviewing this awesome soap (as simpletons call it) discovered by my Aunt Maryann. I must stress though, it is not soap. The product is called Vanicream cleansing bar. It is made for very sensitive skin and is free of dyes, fragrance, lanolin, parabens, and formaldehyde. It contains Vanicream Skin Cream so it also moisturizes as it cleanses.

This cleansing bar might be for sensitive skin but it is still very effective! I used it for three weeks straight and loved it. I even used it for shaving my legs and the foam was plentiful for a close shave. If you know someone who has ultra sensitive skin or simply doesn't want all the chemicals found in everyday soap, this is the one. It would make a great gift for someone. Although the packaging isn't that attractive, it's what's inside that counts!

It can be purchased for $2.99 at Walgreens or found here: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=304239&navAction=jump&navCount=0&nug=VPD&skuid=sku3969519&id=prod3970670#

I totally have to try this! I'm all about the most natural cleansers possible. For the past year or so I've been using plain Witch Hazel, bought at Walgreen's, as my astringent (toner). It's fabulous and very good for sensitive skin. Not to mention MUCH less expensive than pricey toners that are essentially 99% witch hazel with some kind of perfume added.

Hi there,
I know you this review pertains to the Vanicream sap bar, but just an FYI that their cream products have been proven to be carcinogenic. I'll attach the study for you to read up on. You might want to stay away from any brand whose ingredients cause cancer, regardless of which product you are using.
