I want a mascara that just glides on, no clumps and no issues. I found that L'Oreal Voluminous works much better for a similar price range.

If you want to spend a little more, I would recommend Estee Lauder's More Than Mascara.
This stuff works great but also costs $21 a tube. It is sometimes included in their gift with purchase. They are having a sweepstakes for the month of July to win a $350 shopping spree. Check it out:

I've never used this but have used the rubber tip mascaras and they are awful!!! I use the Estee Lauder more than mascara everyday and have for the past 3 years. Its the only mascara I can use to get a natural look or pile on for a night out. One tip to get an extra few days out of your dry mascara, run under hot water for a few minutes to soften.
I really disliked the Define-a-Lash mascara, too! I found it barely did anything, and the flimsy rubber wand is indeed awful.
Thanks for the tip Bridgett and I agree Jennbee, flimsy and awful is a good description!
