Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara

This stuff made me a little moody. It was inexpensive but it didn't hold up to it's promise. The wand is rubbery and flexible so the first few times I used it, I poked myself in the eye. If it wasn't the eye, it was the corner of my eye so I had a goopy mess. I wouldn't say it was clump-free either. It was thick and did not go on smoothly once I delicately put it on my lashes. I finally threw it away so I wouldn't torture myself anymore.

I want a mascara that just glides on, no clumps and no issues. I found that L'Oreal Voluminous works much better for a similar price range.
If you want to spend a little more, I would recommend Estee Lauder's More Than Mascara. This stuff works great but also costs $21 a tube. It is sometimes included in their gift with purchase. They are having a sweepstakes for the month of July to win a $350 shopping spree. Check it out:

I've never used this but have used the rubber tip mascaras and they are awful!!! I use the Estee Lauder more than mascara everyday and have for the past 3 years. Its the only mascara I can use to get a natural look or pile on for a night out. One tip to get an extra few days out of your dry mascara, run under hot water for a few minutes to soften.

I really disliked the Define-a-Lash mascara, too! I found it barely did anything, and the flimsy rubber wand is indeed awful.

Thanks for the tip Bridgett and I agree Jennbee, flimsy and awful is a good description!
